Quick correction - Rare have never been in Guildford. Ultimate Play the Game where based in Ashby de La Zouch which despite it’s incredible sound, is in the midlands.
They then moved to their current home as Rare which is near Twycross
Really stupid slip-up from me, I've written about them being in Twycross before so I don't know why I wrote Guildford this time, will go back in and edit that.
What a lovely game this was. And how fortunate that back in those days I didn't know what a framerate was or what it tasted like.
My cousin and I even got some extra gameplay out of the poor performance of games back in the day by making Perfect Dark crash by detonating a certain number of remote mines at the same time.

These things happen - I’m still based in Guildford and it’s been the hub of so many historic gaming companies through the years

It can be quite helpful sometimes as it essentially gives you slow motion during a hard level lol
